Jan - Reherse real hard with our new Live drummer, the set is soon to be complet. Gig at Lycksele Rock festival, with band souch as B-low and Nocturnal Rites... a blasting gig!!!
We sent a letter 2 Roberto Laghi, a producer that we want 2 work with. Laghi has produced bands like LOK, Hardcore superstar, Mustasch, In Flames etc.
We wrote to him and said;
- If you fall in love with us, please send a letter back... &... HE DID!!!
After that we started to planning an recording together... and so on...
Feb - Gig at the House of Metal festival (Kick ass festival btw)
It was a smashing hit 4 us!!!
We made some real good connections with a lot of people... who could help us out in the future with gigs and so on... Some great reviews in the local paper VF and VK... and a lot of nice comments and stuff from fans and friends, face to face and at the myspace site. THANX!!! it mean so much 2 us...
Mars - Song writing and rehersal...
April - A 2 day gig at Pub Anchor, Stockholm Sweden, Johan Blomquist (bass) from Backyard Babies were there and FETRÖJJDE!!!, The 2 day gig went f****n great!!! We borrowed amps from Poodles - hey cool! The amp sounded really great... THANX!!!
Maj - Gig at Skellefteå Rockfestival, with some really great comments and reviews. Starting to pre-record our new songs at Mogges home studio. Testing if the new songs would hold the standard on the new record. It will be a KILLER!!!
Juni - Gig in Storuman, Sweden. Haveing a real great dialog with Universal records in Sweden. They wanted 2 new songs from us! We also talked about doing a so called "showcase"-gig 4 them - to show them what were about on stage.
Meeting with Musikanten in Umeå Sweden, sponsor deal discussions and so on. We talked about doing the whole next album there with Roberto Lahgi, but nothing was desided.
Juli - Gig at BIG EAR FESTIVAL in Umeå Sweden. Gig at Trädgårn also in Umeå. Per Bussman from Triada Promotions saw us perform - and he was impressed! He tries to get us in and a deal with Regain Records (Mustasch etc.). We also had friends and fans from the Netherland that came and saw us - THANX for your support!!!
Aug - Gig at Rockkrock festival in Umeå Sweden. Working to get sponsor deals to get Roberto Laghi to Umeå for a PROMO-recording with us - who Univeral records wants.
Sept - Consentrating on makening, rehersal, pre-record new songs. Starting to take shape, 13 songs are now ready.
Okt - Pre-recording as HELL... at Mogges place... About 18 new songs ready to shoot into flames now...
Now - PROMO-recording 2 new songs 4 Universal records!!! with Ronnie Bjornstrom at Musikanten AB Umeå and his Enhanced audio productions. F**k... we are som proud of what we creamed out on ONE DAY!!! It sounds great man!!!

Jan - We finally found our new "livedrummer" !!!
His name is Mikael "Ludde" Ludvigsson
Feb - Jun - We are rehearsing real hard with our "livedrummer" 4 upcoming liveshows, finally we're set 2 kick arse!!! Ludde worked his but off 4 about 3 mounth... Besides of being a great fucking drummer, he's a great person... From the bottom of our hearts - Welcome Ludde 2 the Live Elephant family - We're real proud of You!!!
April - Celebrating our proud 14:th year as a Slugger Metal band!!!
July - We're setting the rooster 4 the release of the new album!
Aug - Our first gig with our new "livedrummer" at Kullerbacken in Dorotea (SWE). Really nice 2 be back on stage after 2 years of no liveshows... and we kicked some arse 2 !!! At the same time we hooked up with our Netherland friends Robin and Marianne - See U in The Netherlands or at Pub Anchor 20 - 21 April...

Working sporadiclly in the studio. (Still lack of
money). Shoting a DVD to get a chanse to be support act to "Europe" on
their worldtour. Real close actually... - But not really to the finishline
in the end. Well, well...

Working real hard on new song's. Live decides to record their 3:rd album. In April Live records drums & bass on 17 new song's in just 3 days - Puh !!! Lack of money... - U now it !!!
This time Live also have decided to do the recordings whenever they have the money in their hands, instead of killing themselves with eternal bankloans... & eternal mortgages. 'Cause of that... it gonna take some time to finish it this time. But what the fuck we have no other choice, we have to try !!!
During the summer Live sporadiclly records giutars. ('Cause of lack of money). In the autumn some vocals starts to find it's place.

Rock - SM in Stockholm Sweden - Funny !!! Our 1 st "real" gig in Stockholm at the Bar "Pub Anchor"! Cool place with lots of musicians.
Still no satisfying labels... and after a rough time with many sleepless night's... the band decides to release their new album on their own again - whitout any label. But how the fuck could we get the money to release it ?! Some more WHORE-COVER-PLAYING... again. But after this... this was the last fucking time man... never more !!! Puke... womit ...Blood.. iNsAnE........
2:nd Album "Masterhead" released in Mars - with John Norum who also released his new album "Slipped into tomorrow".

Live started to record their new album in Jan - 98 for Relativity Records. Relativity were really satisfied with the album !!! But in the same sentens they also told us... that sometime during the process the Hip Hop wave had sky rocket. They decided to push everthing aside to spend every cent on HipHop !!! FUCK !!! Faith...?! NOT ment to be...?!
To clean up the money mess Live played covers like whores... again. Working hard to get a new deal. Some labels were real intressted but nothing really kicked off 4 Live.

Zinny got really exited bout the album as well & offerd to help them in the U.S.A. Zinny rushed to the states in the summer of -97 in order to try to get them & his new band "Zan Clan" a deal. In the autumn Zinny called Mogge & told him that some labels in the states were really intressted ! The recordlable "Relativity records" had decided to give them a recorddeal !!! WOW !!! Bands like Zinny's Shotgun Messiah, Biohazard, Corrosion of Conformity, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani etc were on this label.
At the same time Mogge were in touch with Hempo Hillden drummer of John Norum (Europe). Live were specialguest to John in Umeå Sweden in the autumn of - 97 !!!

Their 1 st album "Skin n' bone" released in April. (No label, they released it on their own). They got great rewiewvfrom the biggest paper in Sweden called Aftonbladet.
Tried to get a deal & some labels were intressted - but nothing solid the band felt.
They were specialguest to "Deep Purple" on their worldtour summer of -96 in Umeå Sweden.
Working on new song's. Mogge met Kee Marcello former Europe guitarist at a workshop & gave him theri 1 st album. Kee called him up some month later & said: - This is a really great album with a fresh new sound !!!
In order to help "Live" get a great deal, Kee gave Mogge the number to a guy called Zinny J. San. (Kee & Zinny played in the same band "Easy Action" in the 80:s. Zinny was also big with at band called "Shotgun Messiah" in the early 90:s. Now Zinny have his band "Zan Clan" & it's going real well 4 him !!!)
